The 8th Tokyo Filmex film festival presents films that are original and unique. Continuing to foster a relationship with filmmakers who are actively creating innovative works, this international film festival aims to bridge these creators with audiences through original programming.

1. Tokyo Filmex Competition (10 works)
Competition among emerging Asian filmmakers.

2. Specially Selected Works (11 works)
New and cutting-edge works from the international film industry.

3. Special Screenings of Significant Filmmakers
Satsuo Yamamoto "That's Social Entertainment" (12 works)
Japan-India Friendship Year Project: Masterpieces by Ritwik Ghatak (4 works)

4. Related Events
Discussions by journalists, film directors and producers.
