Having been told that she only had a year left to live, the artist is still alive and full of the joy of making the most of life. In this new lease of life, she discovered the "eternal in the momentary" - the same kind of feeling one gets when watching the sun cast its light through the air and onto the earth. She aims to convey this sense of gratitude through natural phenomena in her photographs.
