Professors and students of the department of Nihonga at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music bring in each of their drawings for this exhibition, revealing their various ideas about art.
As a part of their research program, the Nihonga department often holds observation sessions at outdoor locations. A lot of the works from this exhibition are the resulting pieces from their research and process drawings.
