"Works from the Collection - The Painters' Summer" Exhibition

Hiratsuka Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Toshio Ozeki, Hozan Ueshima et al.
The summer months are for adults a time for refection on one's memories of the past, and for children the best time of the year. This exhibition features works chosen on the grounds that they look like they may have been painted in summer or that they have a summery feel to them.

Thanks to the generous support of the Sen-Oku Hakukokan, Hozan Ueshima's painting series "12 Months of Beautiful Women" (from the Sen-Oku Hakukokan collection) is on special display. This series of masterpieces depicts women through every month of the year.
