Christopher Dresser
Christopher Dresser (1834-1904) is a renowned pioneer of industrial design in Britain. Dresser used to be a botanical researcher before he started designing tableware for the Mintons and others. It was a time of massive industrialization in the late 19th century when he started designing various household items, now recognized as a fore-runner of 20th century industrial design.
