World Press Photography Exhibition 2007

Set up in Holland in 1955 to spread the freedom of press, the World Press Photography Foundation holds a yearly competition of images taken by press photographers over the past year. Composed of ten categories such as "events", "accidents", "strife" and so on, the competition offers prizes from 1st to 3rd place, for both single photographs and composite photographs. From the works submitted, 200 have been chosen and are being exhibited in a traveling exhibition in over 45 locations around the world.
