Misaki Sato
Misaki Sato's works seem very simple at first glance, and yet they take a long time to produce. She does all the work by herself, including sculpture, photography, printing, and painting. She creates geometric objects on which she paints detailed, delicate motifs found in Japanese culture by hand, which, according to the artist, attempt to visualize the language of flowers. She then devotes herself to the long process of creating an elaborate composition through photographing her work, bringing her imaginative world into reality.
