Vika Mitrichenka
Vika Mitrichenka, born in the Republic of Belarus moved to Amsterdam to pursue a fascination with the Dutch realist painters such as Vermeer and De Hooch. She continues to live and work in Amsterdam.
Her exhibition, 'Grandmothers Treasures and Grandfathers Predilection' features finely crafted, hand painted porcelain which appears to be a reworking of broken pieces of china from different eras and was inspired by her Grandmothers habit of doing just that with her much treasured, eclectic crockery collection.
