"Toukoubi - Light Installation" Exhibition

ARCUS Studio
Finished
"Toukoubi" is a special day when students went to school during a long vacation such as winter or summer break. Children could see their friends on "Toukoubi," show each other their ongoing craft projects or picture diaries, and share stories from their family trips. Arcus Studio is located at a former elementary school site, where there were many such days. At this exhibition, "Toukoubi," pronounced the same as "school day," but written with a different kanji to imply "light-up day," students of Tsukuba University have created light installations in an outdoor setting. They aim to provide a space for visitors to share an exciting moment. A total of 25 students are participating in this year's project, using different kinds of light sources.
