本展では、アンリ・ド・トゥールーズ=ロートレックの油彩画、素描、ポスター、版画を中心に、19世紀末の大衆文化を伝える関連資料など約250点により、19世紀末パリの大衆文化に活躍した画家・ロートレックの多彩な活動を紹介します。オルセー美術館からの本邦初公開の油彩画、水彩画、素描を含むロートレックコレクションをはじめ、サンパウロ美術館など国内外の美術館から集めた名品、作家としても円熟期を迎え活躍した晩年10年間の版画、ポスターなど、ロートレック芸術の全てをご紹介いたします。なお本展は、サントリーミュージアム［天保山］（開催中～11月4日）、愛知県美術館（2007年11月13日～2008年1月14日）で開催する巡回展です。関連イベントの詳細は
