July 8th (Sun) from 15:00, ¥500 (including one drink)
This talk will address the future of Japanese art as well as reports from the biennale. (Japanese only)

The 52nd Venice Biennale, entitled "Think with the Senses - Feel with the Mind. Art in the Present Tense," opened to the public on June 10th. This exhibition aims to be an "immediate guide" to the biennale, and displays videos, photographs and catalogs, as well as limited edition art goods, such as Felix Gonzales-Torres' posters and sweets installation.

Approximately 80 countries officially participated in the 52nd Venice Biennale. This exhibition portrays the reality of the state of world affairs, through projects such as those from Taiwan, a country that cannot officially participate due to political reasons. The international pavilion featuring more than 100 artists is curated by Robert Storr, the first American to fill this role.
