This is CG creator Hiroyuki Hayashida's first solo exhibition in the last six years. He is active in the computer graphics field, contributing to various TV commercials and movies. The theme of this exhibition is "layers." Sequential life-size photographs of four high school girls transforming into warriors are installed in the gallery space. "Cosplay (costume play)" used to be only known among the otakus, but it is acknowledged widely nowadays. Borrowing the language of cosplay, this artist challenges pop and creates a catchy yet sophisticated kind of art.
