Chen Kaige's film "Farewell My Concubine" won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1993, and includes one of the best performances from actor Leslie Cheung.
This exhibition was first held in Hong Kong in September, 2005, and was later held in Shanghai, and is held in Japan this December. Inside, it recreates the world of "Farewell My Concubine" by displaying scenery and props from the Chinese opera, and also gives visitors important knowledge about Chinese history and culture, and specifically the Chinese opera.
