This exhibit features works by 10 prominent German artists currently active in the contemporary art scene. The theme of this exhibition is the appearance of holy and sublime buildings. The pieces have arrived at this theme through various powerful expressions that are at times solemn, glorious, austere or ironically distant. The architectural icons in these works are derived from sacred buildings located in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
