"Japanese Graphic Design: JAGDA 1981-2006" Exhibition

Tokyo Midtown Design Hub
Finished
JAGDA, with 2400 participating members, is the largest group of graphic designers in Asia. Every year since 1981 it has published an annual that showcases the high quality works that these designers have produced. Furthermore, as a message to society about the various forms that design can take, since 1983, JAGDA has been holding annual exhibitions of posters designed by its members.

This exhibition brings together roughly 1000 works of epoch-making design, ranging from advertising to symbol design, Pro-Peace posters and videos, revealing to visitors both how Japan has led the graphic design world for the past 25 years and what possibilities design has to offer for the future.
