The Japan Society of Commercial Space Designers presents "JCD Design Award" so that the public can recognize the best designs of the commercial environment. In accordance to the changes in the times, the whole concept of the design award has also been changed over the years so as to pick out the value and possibility of spatial design in every age. Buying, eating, gathering, enjoying, communicating, feeling - among these six categories, designs which passed the first stage of the competition selection process will be on show for the final judging round which is open to the public.
