Lake Van is located around the eastern part of Turkey, allowing for no animal life except a kind of edible fish and certain kinds of planktons, and freshwater fish that have adapted to the saline environment. There is a myth about the lake, a tale about a dragon and Kiyoshi Mori visited the lake to research this story. The works on display vividly depict the surroundings of the lake.
