Throughout modern and contemporary art, there are artists who incorporate texts, numbers and symbols in their work. These are basically abstract forms of expressions and yet they stimulate the imagination even more effectively than a fully graphic image. This exhibition includes works made from the 1930s up to today, using such abstract forms of expressions.
