With an emphasis on Japanese modern and contemporary art, Yokosuka Museum of Art celebrates the anniversary of the museum's opening with this exhibition which gives an overview of Japanese modern art, consisting of works from their permanent collection, as well as selected works from other collections. The gallery on the basement level is divided into six sections exhibiting more than 80 pieces covering the early 20th century to the 1960s.
