La Chaîne - Japan & France Contemporary Art Exhibition is directed by world renowned French artist, Christian Boltanski. This exhibition includes video installations by five cutting-edge artists including Bolstanski himself, as well as four artists from Japan, including Harutaka Matsumoto, who curated the Japanese part of the exhibition.

This exhibition is being held at BankART 1929 Yokohama and BankART Studio NYK. Boltanski's new installation piece, installed in the classical architectural space in BankART 1929 is the highlight of the show. A talk event by Boltanski and exhibition adviser Akira Tatehata is scheduled on the opening day. This show is a part of the digital art festival, "Yokohama Eizone".
