Aya Saito, Aiko Takano
Both Aiko Takano and Aya Saito have won prizes in GEISAI and the Gunma Biennale for Young Artists. Saito was also given first prize in the FOIL Magazine awards and the Hitotsubo Exhibition. For this exhibition, Saito presents drawings on 150 centimeter-long strips of paper, which reveal her daily struggles and challenges.
Takano recomposes clippings of magazines. An iconographic image of a girl taken from a magazine is contrasted with collaged flowers. She is also presenting sculptural works in this exhibition.
