Wako Works of Art is very pleased to announce its 15th Anniversary exhibition starting Saturday, October 27, 2007. The exhibition will be presented in four parts, and will collectively trace the 15 years of Wako Works of Art through early and new works by the artists represented by the gallery.

The first in the series will feature works by Yuji Takeoka, James Welling, Noritoshi Hirakawa, Henk Visch and Gerhard Richter. Takeoka will show early and new works from his representative pedestal series; also on display will be works by Welling, from the early series "Diary/Landscape" and new "Author" series. Hirakawa, who has been with the gallery since its establishment in 1992, will present an installation piece from 1999 and work from a new photographic series. Works by Richter from 1992 have been generously lent for this exhibition; and Visch will be participating with his new sculptures in each of the four installments.
