Makiko Kudo Exhibition

Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka
Finished

Artists

Makiko Kudo
Makiko Kudo's paintings are reflections of mysterious psychological landscapes that she has developed through her imagination and her encounters with things in daily life. Her seemingly primitive brush strokes are the fusion of the worlds she sees in dreams and in reality. The surface consists of different parts: colorfully depicted images of girls, animals and plants pop out off the background that she has painted flat, devoid of all depth.
