Artists

Marc Chagall
A Russian Jew, Chagall lived through the dramatic time of two major wars and the Russian Revolution. Contrary to the hardships he experienced, his works are filled with love and dreams. Known for his fantastical images of lovers and animals, and his harmonious usage of color, he is one of the most significant 20th century artists. This exhibition consists of works from collections around the world, ranging from his early works to those from later in his career. A total of 180 pieces include 24 oil paintings such as "Acrobat". The exhibition highlights Chagall's continuing theme of love.
