At Metal Art Museum Hikarinotani
Media: Sculpture

This artist creates stone sculptures out of marble and Komatsu stone. The theme of the works are how to create echoing relationships between stones of differing materials by attaching and staggering them. Stones are subject to various nonhuman forces such as erosion, heat deformation and oxidation through which they claim their existence. The artist strives to express the tempo of time that stone lives experience through each work.
