"Fujio Akatsuka & Funny Friends" Exhibition

Suginami Animation Museum
Finished
Fujio Akatsuka has been working as a manga artist for 50 years. He loves to do anything fun and has produced many humorous characters. Those characters are based on his roommates from the famous Tokiwa apartment, fellow anime producers from Studio Zero and illustrators from Fujio Pro, and many other people he encountered.

This exhibition introduces those characters through photographs and talk events, illustrating how he became a manga artist. Also, screenings of famous anime are scheduled to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his masterpieces, "Tensai bakabon (Genius Bakabon)" and "Moretsu Ataro". Screenings of famous anime are scheduled.
