Trolls in the Park is an outdoor art exhibition that aims to bring contemporary art closer to the urban community. Zenpukuji Park serves as the setting for the event, where visitors are encouraged to ponder the relationship between the natural setting of the park and human activity. At the same time, the participating artists have a chance to think about, explore and develop a response to the challenge of making work in a unique inner city park nestled in Tokyo’s residential area.

This year is the sixth anniversary of Trolls, and the works on display cover a diverse spectrum of mediums, from interactive sculpture to sound performance. In addition to the upcoming exhibition, there will be children’s workshops and art tours given by the artists. There will also be related events taking place at Youkobo Art Space and other locations in the area. For more details, please refer to the website.

-A drawing performance by Jaime Humphreys, a participating artist from England, will take place starting 11:00 on Saturday, November 3rd. The performance will begin and end at Youkobo Art Space.
