"Musubi, Musubu - The Design of Tying Together" Exhibition

Marunouchi Building
Finished
This is the 2nd exhibition in the Happi series in which 8 designers unfold new designs along the theme of taking a new look at "what design is." Information Technology has changed our concept of the environment and space, and can be called a new "material" from which new tools and activities are created. IT, embedded deeply in our lives, is characterized by miniturization and price-reduction and has led to new methods and styles. The theme of this exhibition is to think of IT as a material closer to our daily lives and design new connections between people, things and space. The designers will seek out new designs that lead to new values, by tying together people's actions, things and IT or technologies from different genres.

Opening Talk: June 14th, 19:00-21:00

Please see event webpage for details and related events such as talks by the designers.
