"Elaelaopa!#13" Exhibition

Desperado
Finished
The book "Elaelaopa!#13" was written as a parent-child communication tool, motivated by the authors' desire to remind readers to treat parent-child and family communication with care. "Elaelaopa!#13" is meant to be read by parents and children with the child sitting on the parent's lap. Children can use their imagination, adults can think, and nurture the parent-child communication that ensues. This is a collaborative project between fashion label "writtenafterwards" designer Yoshikazu Yamagata, Kentaro Tamai and "Elaelaopa!'s" Yusuke Suzuki and Shingo Fujimoto.

This exhibition is being held to commemorate the release of this book in Japan, following its release in Holland and Korea.

The exhibition aims to urge viewers to re-acknowledge family love that is gradually becoming more and more tenuous. "Elaelaopa!#13's" will be used as the roof, and old scrap wood will be used to build a hut. Inside the house there will be many houses of varying sizes, representing parents and children. Children will be able to color miniature palm-size house models, and the finished works will be on display also.
