This is the fifth year that the "Copperplate Print Horizon" series is being held. Copperplate prints have an all-inclusive expressiveness that is vast and eternal. Themes that transcend time and motifs of supreme beings are often taken as subjects for copperplate print works due to their unique ability to reflect the abstract ideas of the artist. This exhibition features works by five contemporary copperplate print artists, placing emphasis on how copperplate prints differ from woodblock prints and lithographs. Among the works are Tadayoshi Nakabayashi's philosophical transposition series, Noriko Kiyotsuka's images of a boat's wake, Shinji Ando's portrayal of plant and animal life, Yuri Shiraki's music, and Rika Miyai's light.
