Paul Cézanne
Last year marked the 100th anniversary of the passing of Paul Cézanne (1839-1906). Cézanne who famously said that nature most often presents itself in spheres, cylinders, and cones, had a huge influence on the later cubist work of Picasso and Braque. Also, Sotaro Yasui and other Japanese artist who went to France to study painting were strongly influenced by Cézanne.

Works displayed in this exhibition will include "Self-Portrait with a Hat" (c.1890-94) and "Mrs. Cézanne in striped Dress" (1882).
