Hiromitsu Morimoto "Platinum toned kallitype"

Artists

Hiromitsu Morimoto
Hiromitsu Morimoto's photographs have similar elements to still-life or portrait paintings, and express his world of purity. They are reminiscent of works by Edward Weston, who explored the literal and sharp representation of photography. Morimoto brings something more in his photographs, emphasizing concepts of visibility and invisibility, and mutation and permanence.
