As a continuation of the successful video installation exhibition he held at the Kodama Gallery in 2004 exhibition "Home", for this show Breuning is exhibiting a new video work, as well as new drawings, photographs and sculptures made during his stay in Japan.
Olaf Breuning's work makes many references to the stereotypical imagery, music, films and games that permeate all aspects of our society. The new video work he is showing in this exhibition "The Apple and..." is filmed in the style of classic silent films and is imbued with his own brand of humour.
