"Hunting" is the main theme that Anette Paulsen deals with throughout her works. Life always goes on, occupied by daily routines which sometimes take control of our time. This shifting relationship between freedom and routine is an endless cycle. Such absurd yet natural relationships found in humankind and nature are expressed on her canvases, which incorporate various motifs. Her paintings show us that there is no conclusion in this cycle of living.
