Open Salon "Gainer Workshop"
This event has ended.
At NTT ICC Inter Communication Center
Media: Art Talk
"Gainer" is a tool kit that makes it easy for you to create a work that will respond to physical phenomena. For example, you can use it to make a table or an electronic instrument that will respond to human movement. This workshop will be an experiment in using "Gainer" and Flash to produce interactive works of art.
This workshop is aimed at people who are interested in the kind of media art that is on display in the ICC, people who are looking to know more about interactive design environments, or people who have had some experience of digital content such as Flash, but who have not yet grasped how to use it. Two of the people involved in the development of "Gainer" will be present to give easy to understand lectures for beginners.
Visitors are also free to watch the workshops without participating.
Capacity is limited to 15 people. Prior reservation required, and is organized on a first come, first served basis. Reservation will close once all seats have been taken.
