Parting ways with a close person became an opportunity for the artist to engage in some introspection, and begin expressing her "inner child". The title of this exhibition "The Roost" signifies a perch or rest spot. The artist attempts to paint scenes through which viewers can stop and empathize with each other in the hustle and bustle of daily life.
