Chiba City Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

John Constable, Joseph Mallord William Turner, George Michel et al.
At the beginning of the modern age in Europe, between the 18th to the 19th centuries, France and Britain faced enormous changes through their industrial and political revolutions. This exhibition highlights the painters who lived through the period, including Constable, Turner, Michel, Corot and many other masters.

The cities of France and the nature of Britain are the key themes of this exhibition, introducing the background of the evolutions in both countries through paintings and prints taken from the museum collection.
