The New Media Course at the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music is holding the course's first graduate exhibition "OS1". The course began in April 2006, and students have worked on film, installation and research with new media technology to achieve various forms of expression. This exhibition is mainly organized by the students for the sake of public exposure. Previously, they have held open studios four times, showing their ongoing projects. The exhibition title "OS" comes from "Open Studio" and also it refers to "Operation System." The aim of "OS1" is to develop a new platform for their expression.
