28th "Hitotsubo" Exhibition

Guardian Garden
Finished
Ten exhibitors whose portfolios have passed the first screening will each be exhibiting in a "hitotsubo" space, a Japanese measurement for a space of 3.3m squared (1.82m x 1.82m). The first place winner chosen during this exhibition period will be given an opportunity to have a solo exhibition at the Guardian Garden this year.

Some works that will be on display are: comical self portraits of a surfer lost in the mountains, photographs of families dressing as firefighters and yakuza among other professions, and works capturing falling snow like a scene from a movie.

A grand prize winner will be decided on at the second stage of judging, after a presentation from each artist and a debate by the five judges.

Opening party: February 21st, 20:30-21:30

Second judging: February 21st, 18:00-20:30
