This exhibition aims to present a variety of works by contemporary artists from Japan and the U.S. It is also taking place at LA Artcore Gallery in Los Angeles this September, and being held in conjunction with the "Contemporary Artist Center Exhibition" being held at the same time at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
By providing artists with an opportunity to exhibit and share their experiences with viewers, this exhibition stimulates cultural exchange. Not only by looking at their art work, but also being able to meet the artists in person is a way of allowing viewers to get to know more about the artists' works. Artists from foreign countries in particular can gain a lot out of the response from Japanese viewers.
