Hiroshige Utagawa
It has been 150 years since Hiroshige Utagawa passed away. This exhibition focuses on Hiroshige's famous piece "Tokaido Goju-santsugi" from various perspectives. Along with a total of 55 prints from the museum collection, 55 "tenugui" hand towels with reproductions of "Tokaido Goju-santsugi" by Daikanyama Kamawanu Shozo studio are on display. Also, the process and tools for tenugui making are on view to introduce Edo culture in detail.
