"Nemunoki Children and Mariko" Exhibition

Mori Arts Center Gallery
Finished
This exhibition presents work by 54 students from the School for Handicapped Children in Kakegawa City, the first of its kind in Japan.

This exhibition has already travelled to Paris and New York, where it has been seen by 50,000 people, to great critical acclaim. Mori Arts Center is holding this exhibition to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the School for Handicapped Children. The school does not teach the children how to paint; they focus on their feelings and produce the paintings by themselves.
