Many staff members are involved in Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography's diverse operations. Specialty researchers, librarians, preservation specialists, preservation science researchers are involved in putting up exhibitions, collecting and archiving works on film and running educational outreach programs and the library. The "Curator's Choice 07" exhibition features a collection of works selected by these specialized staff members based on the theme of "Conversing Museum." From their unique viewpoints that they have developed through their daily work and research, the specialists have arranged an exhibition of exceptional and unusual works that focuses on the conversations between artists and their work, and even more importantly, between museums and viewers.
