The ever-popular Vespa scooters are a hallmark of Italian design. This exhibition will focus on the exemplary value that Vespa has borne through history. The exhibition theme includes the relationship between Vespa design and its historic and social background, as well as its excellent design characteristics and performance capabilities. Various Vespa models that have been iconized by their vivid symbolism to the masses will be on display. The attraction of Vespa will be explored through changes in form, aesthetic characteristics, technological progress, brand image and changes in advertising strategies, all explained alongside the history of Piaggio and its founder.
