"Textile Workshop - Anitiquity of Nature" Special Lecture

This is a special lecture by the Kinsei Asanuno (modern linen) Laboratory from IID. Centering around the studies on "Takamiya-nuno," a kind of linen developed in the Edo period, this lecture introduces the materials, methods, and market systems from the period. Participants can touch samples of Takamiya-nuno. This talk is also an introduction to the "Textile Workshop" which is scheduled for this fall.
