What makes "Ultra 001" different from a number of other art fairs held all over the world is that 25 individual directors came forward to participate. The featured gallery directors are all below the age 40, coming into the scene with the aim to open up the possibilities of art through their exhibitions and the market. Shedding light on these young directors, who serve as core members of the art scene's newest generation, this art fair aims to bring fresh perspectives.
As the title of this fair suggests, it is hoped that a new type of art market will grow out of this fair, which consists of works that have been selected by these young directors. The organizers are planning to make this fair an annual event.
