"The Exposed" is a showcase started in 2006 which presents work of Japanese young photographers. It has played an important role as an organizer for Japanese new photography movement, having group shows questioning the context of photography, and expansion of it. The 3rd edition of "The Exposed" in 2008 was held at CASO, an art center in Osaka, with the title "PhotoDazE", featuring work by 14 artists. This traveling exhibition will be held in Tokyo this time with a different concept from the one in Osaka.
Gallery talk "Tokyo Photography Revolution" with Ryosuke Ohama, the editor of "Studiovoice" & Shigeo Goto will be held on August 9th (19:00-). On September 3rd (19:00-), slide-show by Hideka Tonomura and gallery talk by Kimi Himeno & Shigeo Goto will be held. (limited to 20 person)
