Akari Sasai "Clock"

The Artcomplex Center of Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Akari Sasai
On view and for sale are clocks designed by Akari Sasai, one of the members of the art unit Rinpa Eshidan.

"Source of my inspiration is Rinpa Eshidan's creative activity itself, whose concepts are constant change, creative process and time. Then I reflect this inspiration on my solo 2D work that deals with 'change', 'time' and 'movement', with the focus on color, line, flow and composition. With the cooperation of Takata Lemnos Inc., I'm introducing in this exhibition self-designed clocks onto which the themes I've addressed through my 2D work are projected." (Akari Sasai)
