INAX Galleria Ceramica is holding the 12th "Galleria Ceramica Summer Exhibition of Vessels, Small Objects and Tools". Made by artists who have held solo exhibitions at the gallery over the past 11 months, these items will be on display and for sale.
The gallery usually holds a solo exhibition every month that communicates each artist's message through a holistic consideration of the exhibition space, but for the month of August, artists have instead been asked to create "life-size" works. This year marks the 12th year of this event, attracting a wide variety of people who enjoy ceramics and the plastic arts.
INAX Ginza was selected for the 2nd time this year as the venue for the exhibition, in which more than 100 works created by 11 Galleria Ceramica artists who have held solo exhibitions from September last year to July this year will be on display and for sale. A wide variety of colors and forms of expression are showcased, allowing visitors to sample the different styles of each artist and make new discoveries.
INAX Galleria Ceramica is a venue that allows its artists to transcend the qualities of their material and create works that are uninhibited and sometimes even extravagant. Prices at this exhibition are mostly under ¥10000 per piece, making this a good opportunity for first-timers to purchase a piece of art.
