Japanese companies have intently pursued high functionality and low cost in manufacturing operations. Italian brands, on the other hand, finely attuned to the sensitivity of their products, have been throwing hints to their Japanese counterparts about developmental techniques with new perspectives.

Kiyoyuki Okuyama, known for his industrial design work for Ferrari, head of the Marunouchi Brand Forum Hidetaka Katahira, and Hajime Kobayashi, who cut his teeth at Alcantara, are among some of the noted professionals working in this domain. Also featured at this seminar is Ibisa Inc., a successful case study of made-in-Japan brand.
